The quote on one of her favorite t-shirts says "God made, Jesus saved, Tennessee raised". While she's had the opportunity to live in several states, Beth Harris has always called Tennessee home. She says, "it's where my roots run the deepest".
Her mom always said Beth was singing before she was talking. Growing up in a ministers home placed her musical root in gospel music. "I believe He gave me the talent so I like giving it back to Him". However, she enjoys singing many other genres as well. Her voice has been compared to artists like Karen Carpenter, Anne Murray and Nora Jones. She's also been known to do a great Patsy Cline.
Beth feels blessed to live in Dayton with her awesome husband, Brad Harris who works for the University of Tennessee and is the minister of music at Wolf Creek Baptist Church, and her beautiful daughter Katie Harris who is a sophomore at Rhea County High School. This will be her first appearance at TVT but she's hoping it won't be her last.
